The Las Vegas Raiders have made a number of moves throughout free agency already, but there are still some big names available. One of the biggest still floating out there is wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who hasn’t played since he suffered a torn ACL as a member of the Los Angeles Rams during Super Bowl LVI.

The Raiders are already pretty set in terms of pass catchers, even after dealing away tight end Darren Waller. The team added Austin Hooper and O.J. Howard in free agency to replace Waller at the tight end position, while also signing receiver Jakobi Meyers to go along with the returning DaVante Adams and Hunter Renfrow. But that won’t stop Raiders fans from recruiting.

Beckham attended Wednesday night’s basketball game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers. After the game, Beckham was spotted by TMZ Sports posing for selfies with fans, and when Beckham pretended to reveal what team he planned on signing with, Raiders fans made it clear where they want to see him sign:

It is this passion and desire that makes Raiders fans truly one of a kind. Just the mention of a possibility brought out all of the Raiders fans to begin yelling at where Beckham’s destination should be. If there were any other teams mentioned by the fans you couldn’t tell as they were drowned out.

This also shows just how strong the Raiders’ fan base remains in Los Angeles despite the team not being based there since 1994. Nearly 30 years later and the franchise still has a massive foothold in Southern California despite two teams being based in L.A. now and one of them winning the Super Bowl just two seasons ago.

The likelihood of Beckham signing with the Raiders would seem pretty slim. As was said earlier, wide receiver is not a big need for the Raiders, and if the team wanted to make another addition, it would make sense to go a cheaper route such as the draft.

That being said, Beckham is one of the most naturally talented receivers to join the NFL in recent years and at just 30 years old should still have plenty left in the tank assuming he has recovered well from the ACL injury. His stint with the Rams showed that he can contribute to a winning team at the highest level and if he were to join the Silver and Black, he would surely make a difference.
