In a bit of expected news, running back Darren McFadden will be inactive for tonight’s game against the San Diego Chargers. McFadden did not practice all week and was listed as doubtful on the Raiders injury report on Friday.

McFadden injured his hamstring in last week’s contest against the Washington Redskins. Rashad Jennings will start in place of McFadden, but expect Marcel Reece to also see some time in the backfield as he will be active for tonight’s game.

McFadden has a history of injuries since being drafted by the Oakland Raiders in 2008 and has missed at least three games in every season.

Quarterback Terrelle Pryor will be back under center and with McFadden out of the lineup all of the pressure will be on the second year quarterback to make plays. The Chargers defense ranks 29th in the NFL against the pass so Pryor will need to show off his arm to take advantage of where the Chargers D is weakest.

The Raiders will be looking to end a two game losing streak tonight.
