In a 52-25 victory over the Tennessee Titans, Raiders receiver Jerry Rice broke the NFL record for yards from scrimmage and Raiders safety Rod Woodson broke the record for interception return yards.

Rice broke Walter Payton’s record on an 11-yard pass in the fourth quarter finishing the day with 21,281 yards from scrimmage, which was 17 more than Payton previously had.

Rod Woodson had three interceptions on the day, one that was returned 82 yards for a touchdown and the record. Woodson’s third quarter interception put his total at 1,339 yards surpassing the 1,282 yards by the late Emlen Tunnell.

Rice would end up with 23,540 yards from scrimmage in his career, which is still the NFL record. Woodson would finish his career with 1,483 interception return yards but has since been passed by Ed Reed.
