Raiders Video: Charles Woodson Tours Allegiant Stadium

The Las Vegas Raiders are set to begin a new era in 2020 with the opening of Allegiant Stadium and their new practice facility in Henderson after moving from Las Vegas.

The main reason for the move was that Raiders owner Mark Davis wanted a new stadium and Las Vegas provided that for him, and it appears they spared no expenses in doing so.

As the stadium nears its completion, various videos and pictures have been released, and it is looking like on of the nicest venues in the world.

Former Raiders great Charles Woodson recently had an opportunity to tour Allegiant Stadium and came away impressed with what he saw, via the Raiders’ official YouTube page:

Allegiant Stadium is located just off The Strip, and when lit up, fits in perfectly with the rest of the Las Vegas skyline:

Unfortunately for Davis and the Raiders, fans will likely not have the opportunity to see Allegiant Stadium in 2020 due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Davis himself might not even get to see it during a game as he recently stated that he won’t be attending games this season if fans aren’t allowed to.

Health and safety is the No. 1 priority during this difficult time though, so hopefully the pandemic can get under control in the country and fans can begin flooding Allegiant Stadium every Sunday beginning in 2021.

As for Woodson, he is very high on the Raiders in 2020 after they had a successful offseason in which they improved on both sides of the ball. It’s clear that expectations are high in the Raiders organization, so now it will be up to the players and coaches to go out and perform to get back to the postseason for the first time since 2016 in the first year in their new home.
