While the Oakland Raiders are preparing for their matchup against the Denver Broncos, the team unveiled their new mascot courtesy of ESPN’s Darren Rovell via Twitter:

The new mascot features a massive head with a spiked helmet, which won’t be appreciated by die-hard Raiders fans. Fortunately, the Raider Rusher is a character on Nickelodeon’s NFL RUSH ZONE, which Rovell later tweeted minutes before the uproar began. The mascot was created solely for the television show and it appears as of today, Raider Rusher will not appear on Oakland sidelines.
