The Las Vegas Raiders picked up one of the most dominant victories in the history of the franchise last Thursday night as they destroyed the Los Angeles Chargers 63-21. It was, without a doubt, the high point of this season and it had the fans inside Allegiant Stadium going absolutely crazy.

With every subsequent score, the Raiders faithful exploded as the points continued to rise and the team got a huge win over a division rival. Of course, Maxx Crosby, one of the captains, was in the middle of everything and his infectious energy not only transferred through the team but also in the stands as well, and he loved what he saw from the fans.

In fact, after the game, Crosby took to social media to praise the fans, calling the Raiders faithful the best fan base in the world:

Crosby has made it clear how much he loves this franchise and wants to succeed in the silver and black. The fans absolutely adore him and everything he means to the Raiders and he has embraced them as well. Raiders fans are known for being some of the most wild and rabid fans in all of sports and that fits Crosby’s personality perfectly.

The key is for the team to give these fans something to cheer and go crazy about on a regular basis which has not been the case over the past couple of seasons. But Crosby knows when things get going, there is nothing like what Raiders fans bring as far as pure energy goes.

Crosby has done his part in another stellar season for the Raiders, ranking fifth in the NFL with 13.5 sacks and second in the league with 19 tackles for loss. Additionally, his 80 combined tackles are far and away the most for any player who has at least 10 sacks, proving he is more than just a pass rusher.

Ever since Antonio Pierce took over as interim coach of this team, the energy within the Raiders locker room has been completely different. The team has been much improved, and that has allowed this fan base to express their excitement in a way they haven’t been able to over the past couple of seasons.

But performances like last Thursday serve as a reminder of just how loud and crazy these fans can get, and Crosby made sure that they know he hears them.
