The time for some real on-field action is finally here for the Oakland Raiders. After months of build-up, Training Camp has officially begun.

Although full swing practice will not be for a few more days, the Raiders rookies and even some of the veterans lime quarterback Derek Carr are getting some early practice time in. The crop of young players arrived at the Raiders practice facility on July 23 and got ready for the next few weeks.

The Raiders shared some footage from the first day of Training Camp, including the rookies arrival and Carr motivating his teammates:

Carr has come to be a leader for the newest Raiders. He knows that they will have to earn their keep, leading to his statement, “Let’s find out who wants to be a Raider.”

One of the brightest spots on the roster will come from the offense. Between Carr and star wide receiver Antonio Brown, offensive firepower will be in no short supply. Additionally, the Raiders are hoping to get some production from rookie running back Josh Jacobs.

The Raiders also shared video from Day 2 of Training Camp, highlighting the offense and what fans might be seeing on the field:

Jacobs was presented at center stage in the video, which could possibly be his role within the team’s ground game. With Isaiah Crowell suffering a season-ending Achilles tear, a new starter has yet to be announced.

Jacobs has stated that he is prepared to take on a bigger load, but as a young player, he may not be ready quite yet. The next few weeks of Training Camp should be telling for where the running back game is headed.
