The Las Vegas Raiders snapped their three-game losing streak with a thrilling 22-16 overtime victory over the Denver Broncos in Week 11.

Davante Adams had his fingerprints all over the win as he caught a game-high seven passes for 141 yards and two touchdowns. The first score came in the second quarter when Adams beat Broncos cornerback Patrick Surtain II for a 31-yard touchdown reception.

Adams would get the best of Surtain again in overtime when he broke loose for a game-winning 35-yard touchdown catch. It was the third time this season Adams caught at least two touchdowns in a game.

As Adams was celebrating on the field, he had a message for Surtain, one of the league’s top defensive backs, via Logan Reever of 8 News Now:

Surtain is only in his second season, but he has impressed since being selected by the Broncos with the ninth overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, registering four interceptions and 20 passes defensed during the span.

While those numbers are impressive, Surtain has not been able to solve Adams just yet, who is arguably the best wide receiver in football.

Adams caught nine of his 13 targets for 101 yards in his first battle against Surtain on October 2 and followed up by catching seven of 13 targets on Sunday.

With Adams and Surtain key contributors on their respective teams, NFL fans can expect many tough battles between the AFC West rivals for years to come.
