The devastating effects of the coronavirus pandemic on world society are hard to escape. Some cities and even countries have gone into full lockdowns and grocery stores are nearly empty.

Of course, if you are a fan of the Las Vegas Raiders or any other sports teams, one of the most noticeable consequences of the coronavirus pandemic has been the near-complete shutdown of the global sports scene. Although the NFL has remained largely unaffected as they are in their offseason, the other major North American sports leagues have all been suspended until further notice. Even the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games will be postponed until 2021.

The NFL has suspended all public events surrounding the 2020 NFL Draft scheduled to take place in Las Vegas in April. So far, little to no other aspects of the NFL’s upcoming season have been changed as the new league year and free agency have gone on as scheduled.

With much of society self-quarantining, it has been tough to get out and be active. Luckily, the Raiders have taken actions to ensure that their players and fans can stay healthy. Both Alec Ingold and Jalen Richard provided video instructions for home workout routines:

The pair provided two separate workouts that can be performed with little to no equipment. With Ingold being a fullback and Richard being a running back, each workout focuses on strength and agility, respectively.

Ingold’s workout is the most accessible, as it can be performed indoors or outdoors with no equipment and minimal space. The workout calls for five sets with 20 reps of jumping jacks, squats, squat jumps, push-ups and forearm plank each. Ingold does the first set on video to help demonstrate each exercise.

For Richard’s workout, you will need a jump rope and agility ladder, or at the very least chalk to simulate an agility ladder. Richard’s workout calls for 15 minutes of footwork with the agility ladder and two five minute sets of freestyle jump rope.
