The Oakland Raiders announced that they have signed offensive lineman Denzelle Good to a one-year contract extension. The team did not release the terms of the contract.

Good originally was a seventh-round draft pick of the Indianapolis Colts in 2015 out of Mars Hill. The Raiders claimed him off waivers prior to Week 14 in 2018 and he has remained with them ever since.

The 28-year-old has appeared in 46 career games across five seasons with the Colts and Raiders, starting 28 of them. He played in 16 games for the first time in his career in 2019, making five starts for Oakland.

One of the main reasons the Raiders want to keep Good in the fold is because of his versatility. He started three games at right guard and two games at left guard in 2019 and also has the ability to play tackle as well.

Good took to social media to express his excitement to be going to with the team to Las Vegas:

The Raiders’ offensive line is in a good spot as the team gets set to move to Las Vegas. That group dealt with a number of injuries in 2019, but the starting group of Kolton Miller, Richie Incognito, Rodney Hudson, Gabe Jackson and Trent Brown, with Good backing them up, forms one of the most formidable groups in the league when healthy.

With the offensive line locked up, the Raiders can use their remaining cap space and draft capital to improve other areas of need on the roster, which is a huge advantage going into 2020.
