NFL: Oakland Raiders at San Diego ChargersThe Oakland Raiders and San Diego Chargers might be in for a schedule change this season. The bitter rivals potentially swapping their home and away games dates appears to be on the horizon according to Vic Tafur of The San Francisco Chronicle:

It’s a very safe bet that the Raiders will switch their home and away dates with the Chargers this season.

The Raiders are currently set to play the Chargers at O.co Coliseum in the Bay Area on Oct. 6 and head to Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego on Dec. 22. Those dates may switch due to the Oakland A’s sharing the Coliseum with the Raiders and needing the grounds for potential playoff games via Tafur:

The Raiders will now travel to San Diego on Oct. 6 and then host the Chargers on Dec. 22. The switch would give Oakland three straight home games against division rivals to close out the season.

Although nothing is set in stone as of right now, the writing appears to be on the wall. The schedule change will likely be announced in the near future.
