The rumor mill in the NFL is starting to heat up once again with another star player potentially on the verge of being traded. Veteran wide receiver Julio Jones of the Atlanta Falcons has officially asked to be traded, and the Las Vegas Raiders are a potential destination.
According to FOX Bet, the Raiders have the second-best odds to land Jones in a trade with the San Francisco 49ers considered the favorite at this point in time.

This isn’t the first time the Raiders have been linked to Jones and might not be the last if they’re truly in the running to land the star wideout. He’d be a massive upgrade to the passing game for the Silver and Black and would quickly become one of Derek Carr’s favorite targets alongside tight end Darren Waller.
Jones has made it clear that he’s prioritizing winning for his next NFL destination, which could make the Raiders intriguing if he views them as a potential playoff contender in the AFC. The addition of Jones would definitely improve the team’s odds of clinching a playoff spot next season and might even make Las Vegas a darkhorse Super Bowl contender.
It remains to be seen what happens with the Jones situation, but there’s no question it will be one of the biggest storylines in the NFL moving forward along with Aaron Rodgers’ uncertain future with the Green Bay Packers.
