Oakland Raiders do-everything fullback Marcel Reece has agreed to a three-year contract extension with the Raiders according to Bleacher Report’s Chris Hansen:
.@Raiders announced they have signed @CelReece45 to a three-year contract extension.

Reece did not enjoy a huge game in the Raiders opener against the Indianapolis Colts, but his skills as an all-around back have been evident over the last couple of years and the Raiders were very wise in locking him up before his contract expired at the end of the season.
In addition to Reece’s extension, a couple of other major players could be looking at extensions soon as well:
Lamarr Houston and Darren McFadden will likely get extensions as well.

The Raiders have all kinds of cap room after the season so locking up their young cornerstones shouldn’t be an issue and is something that needs to happen. Without a doubt this is a very smart move by the Raiders.
