Raiders News: Oakland Players React To Warriors Winning NBA Championship

The Golden State Warriors not only made headlines in the northern California area, but also throughout the NBA realm when they captured their second championship in three seasons. Contrary to their first championship, the Warriors were able to celebrate at Oracle Arena, in front of their electric fan base.

Their championship victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers only adds to the recent success of professional sports in northern California, as the Oakland Raiders attempt to be the next team to follow the trend. Various Raiders took to social media to respond to the Warriors victory, congratulating them and also adding fuel to the fire towards the Raiders 2017 season.

Raiders head coach Jack Del Rio was in attendance to watch the Warriors capture their fifth title in franchise history. While with some friends, Del Rio captured the confetti falling at Oracle Arena:

Del Rio complimented the Warriors on their success, stating he hopes the Raiders can secure a playoff game at the Oakland Coliseum this season.

Fifth-year Raiders and NFL veteran Taiwan Jones also was in attendance for the Game 5 victory, spending some time chatting with some California legends. Jones captured a picture with Snoop Dogg and die-hard Warriors fan E-40, with a shoutout to the city of Oakland:
