Davante Adams got his wish to come back to the West Coast when he was traded by the Green Bay Packers to the Las Vegas Raiders, giving the Silver and Black a bonafide offensive superstar.

There were some questions about whether or not Adams would be as elite as he has been without Aaron Rodgers, but he quickly put those doubts to bed as he put up another First-team All-Pro season during the 2022 campaign. Adams recorded 100 receptions for 1,516 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns, all elite numbers for the Raiders star who has shown no signs of slowing down.

Heading into the 2023 season, Adams will once again be the focal point of the offense and will need to do more of the heavy lifting considering how much stronger the AFC West got in the offseason. However, there’s no denying he has the talent to carry the team, and that’s reflected in his No. 3 wide receiver ranking in the upcoming Madden NFL 24 via EA Madden:

Justin Jefferson and Tyreek Hill put together monster 2022 seasons, but Adams joins them at the top of the list and for good measure considering what he was able to accomplish in his first year with the Silver and Black. While maybe not the athlete or speedster that Jefferson and Hill, Adams is a technician that can run any route and has some of the surest hands in the NFL. No matter who lines up across from him, the Raiders star is able to create separation perhaps better than anyone.

The rest of the top-10 list features players like Stefon Diggs, Cooper Kupp and Ja’Marr Chase but Adams is clearly a level above the receivers below him. Although Las Vegas may struggle to collect wins next season, Adams is going to make them a competitive team on a weekly basis, and it’ll be exciting to see how he fares.

Tim Brown reveals how he feels about Raiders’ current situation

When assessing the Raiders’ situation, it’s hard to come away with too many positives considering the question marks that exist on both sides of the football. On the offensive end, while Adams is a constant, the rest of the unit is up in the air.

The quarterback position is of particular concern as Jimmy Garoppolo is still recovering from offseason foot surgery. Las Vegas legend Tim Brown gave his honest take on the team and admits he can’t get too excited until he sees it on the field.
