When it comes to the best wide receivers of this generation, Davante Adams is undoubtedly one of the absolute best. He showed it during his time with the Green Bay Packers and erased any doubts about his greatness since being traded to the Las Vegas Raiders.
Adams is simply one of the best, and if there is anyone who is qualified to talk about the best receivers of all time, he is one of them. The idea of a ‘Mount Rushmore’ in sports is a simple one, but excellent for debate and Adams recently gave his Mount Rushmore of all-time NFL wide receivers.
Adams appeared on The Rush podcast with his Raiders teammate Maxx Crosby and gave his top-four receivers ever going with Randy Moss, Jerry Rice, Calvin Johnson and Terrell Owens:

Adams certainly chose an excellent group, and while there are certainly others who could be brought up, Moss, Rice, Johnson, and Owens are all deserving of this placement. As the Raiders teammates mentioned, Rice and Moss are shoo-ins on any list, and the omission of either of those two would likely lead to most considering that opinion invalid. But after those two there are a number of candidates.
Rice remains so far ahead of everyone else in all major statistics that it still doesn’t seem real, and Moss’s raw talent was just undeniable. At his best, there was no one more unguardable. Johnson had a shorter career but was so dominant in that time that many viewed him as the greatest in terms of raw talent and physical gifts. Many may dismiss Owens because of off-field issues and antics, but his numbers speak for themselves.
Others, such as Raiders legend Tim Brown, Larry Fitzgerald, Andre Reed, Marvin Harrison, and plenty more, should also be considered. If Adams continues to dominate with the Raiders as he has in his first two seasons with the franchise, he could also find himself on these lists.
Davante Adams reveals nickname for Raiders rookie TE Brock Bowers
For now, Davante Adams and Maxx Crosby are focused on bringing the current Raiders back to the postseason and becoming contenders. The team drafted tight end Brock Bowers in the first round of the NFL Draft, and the rookie could make a huge impact immediately and is already standing out to Adams.
In fact, the Raiders star has already nicknamed Bowers, calling him ‘BM’ which stands for businessman. Adams said the rookie is focused only on getting things done on the field and wouldn’t even laugh when he tried to crack a joke as he is ready to handle business in the NFL.
