More than ever before, the NFL has become a league all about passing, and the talent at wide receiver throughout the league is arguably the best it has ever been. The Las Vegas Raiders have one of the best in Davante Adams, but there are a number of talented players that make trying to craft a list of the best extremely difficult.

Ceedee Lamb, JaMarr Chase, Justin Jefferson, Tyreek Hill, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Stefon Diggs and A.J. Brown just to name a few, are all more than capable of taking over a game and being unguardable. But when push comes to shove, Adams still feels he is at the top of the list.

Adams recently appeared on the Club Shay Shay podcast and listed off his top-5 receivers in the NFL right now, and the Raiders star put himself at the top with Lamb, Hill, Jefferson and Chase rounding out his list:

It is undoubtedly a great list and one that’s hard to argue, though there are others who are just as worthy of being mentioned. But Adams has the utmost confidence in himself, and the Raiders star is going to put himself at the top, as he should.

He does make a great point about being the only person over that timeframe who has undoubtedly been a top-3 player at the position. Adams has consistently produced at a very high level, and that hasn’t changed since he came to the Raiders two seasons ago.

Adams also noted that he judges players not just based on their production but also on who can get open and deliver when their team needs it the most, which, again, he has thrived at for many years. There are a lot of players who could argue they deserve the crown of the top receiver, but Davante Adams is in that conversation and has been for a very long time.

Randy Moss believes Raiders star Davante Adams should ‘chase a ring’

Someone else who has an argument for the all-time crown is Randy Moss who is definitely in the discussion of greatest wide receiver of all-time. And the Hall of Famer has been in the same position as Davante Adams of being the best, but not having a Super Bowl championship to show for it.

Moss recently spoke on Adams, and he feels the star receiver should chase a ring. He notes that he has made plenty of money and has all of the accolades and accomplishments. Moss added that he doesn’t feel the Raiders will be Super Bowl contenders anytime soon, especially as they are in the same division as the Kansas City Chiefs.
