The time for the Oakland Raiders has almost come to an end. Soon they will take on their new mantle as the Las Vegas Raiders as they get set to move to their new home in August.

The Raiders completed their 2019 regular season campaign with a disappointing, albeit exciting, 16-15 loss to the Denver Broncos. They got to within one point before failing to convert on the two-point conversion, and will finish the season at 7-9.

With that loss, it is time to look forward to what lies ahead for the Raiders. That excitement starts right away as Paul Gutierrez of ESPN has revealed the Raiders’ home and away opponents for the 2020 season:

Here are the opponents for the Las Vegas Raiders for the 2020 regular season: Home: Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Indianapolis Colts, Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers Away: New England Patriots, New York Jets, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, Cleveland Browns, Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers

The Raiders will continue to face familiar opponents and divisional rivals, such as the Denver Broncos, Los Angeles Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs. It should be interesting to see the Raiders go up against the New England Patriots. Of course, facing them in Foxboro is going to be one of the Raiders’ toughest games in recent years.

This organization is no strangers to being on the road after completing a six-game road trip this season, including a stop in the United Kingdom.

More exciting than going on the road will be the Raiders; 2020 home schedule. Their exciting new Las Vegas home is set to have completed construction by this summer and should be one of the more extravagant stadiums in the NFL.

Allegiant Stadium will also play host to one of the Raiders’ more difficult opponents in the New Orleans Saints. Of course, each season leads to differences amongst who is elite and who is not, but the Saints have consistently been very good in recent years.

The Raiders appear to be on their way to reaching that status. Although they had a disappointing end to 2019, they have shown flashes of brilliance. The emergence of Darren Waller as an elite tight end has been one of the most exciting football stories of the year as he has developed into one of the best pass-catchers in the league.

Additionally, Josh Jacobs has become one of the best Raiders rookies in history. Although he has been hampered with injuries lately, there is no denying that he has special talents. Hopefully, the Raiders can continue to improve upon their young talent and make their first season in Las Vegas a special one.
