A few days before the Oakland Raiders faced off against the Dallas Cowboys on Friday night at O.co Coliseum, the team released the current depth chart with a few surprises. One of those surprises was rookie wide receiver Brice Butler being placed high up on the chart along with Denarius Moore and Rod Streater.
Although many questioned Butler’s position on the depth chart at wideout before Friday’s game, few will question it from here on out after his incredible catch against the Cowboys.
Once Matt Flynn and Terrelle Pryor were done for the night and standing on the sidelines, rookie quarterback Matt McGloin took over under center. Many anticipated seeing McGloin struggle, but were also intrigued considering the fact he was able to leap fellow rookie Tyler Wilson on the quarterback depth chart.
McGloin and Butler both showed how they impressed the Raiders’ coaching staff with this incredible 30-yard connection for a touchdown on Friday night in Oakland.
