The Las Vegas Raiders are set to begin a new journey in 2020 when they move into their brand new state-of-the-art home, Allegiant Stadium.
While the building of Allegiant Stadium hasn’t been smooth with a number of construction workers contracting coronavirus (COVID-19), it is finally nearing its completion and looking like one of the best new stadiums in the country.
The Raiders have been good about putting out frequent video updates on the construction, and the last one showed the turf and video boards inside the stadium being installed:
With the outside of Allegiant Stadium looking close to complete, the focus in recent weeks has shifted to the interior, which is also beginning to take shape.
In addition to a video update on the stadium’s construction, the Raiders also released a hype video as they search for employees to work in the stadium once the seasons starts, per Mick Akers of the Las Vegas Review-Journal:

It’s unclear when Allegiant Stadium will officially be opening since it was supposed to be a Garth Brooks concert in August, although that will likely be cancelled or postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Raiders’ first home preseason game is against the Arizona Cardinals on Aug. 27, so that will be the first time they play at their new home and could be the stadium’s opening with no fans in attendance. They will then play their first regular-season game at Allegiant Stadium in Week 2 when they host the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football.
