Oakland Raiders running back Josh Jacobs has wasted no time in emerging as the focal point of the offense following a stellar start to the 2019 NFL season.

Jacobs is the culmination of the significant changes the Raiders ushered in last offseason after the arrival of head coach Jon Gruden. He was one of the three first-round picks used in the 2019 NFL Draft that the team had received in a trade with the Chicago Bears and has easily been the most impactful of the bunch.

Aside from his status as one of the top rookies in the league, Jacobs is well on his way to becoming a franchise cornerstone for years to come. This could be why he got an early start on establishing some connections with his future home in Las Vegas.

Jacobs took full advantage of the team’s bye week to ring the siren for the Las Vegas Golden Knights matchup versus the Calgary Flames, via his personal Instagram:

Jacobs has become a star in Oakland and he already appears to be well on his way to becoming a fan favorite in Las Vegas as well. The rookie managed to bring his winning touch to the Golden Knights after they dismantled the Flames 6-2 later in the evening.

The 21-year-old is coming off a career day against the formidable Chicago Bears defense after tallying 143 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns on 29 touches. It is safe to say that the Raiders will be relying heavily on Jacobs once again to help them potentially make a statement against the Green Bay Packers in Week 7.
