As the Oakland Raiders officially make the transition to being the Las Vegas Raiders, there is still a lot of work to be done. Mainly, Allegiant Stadium needs to be completed to provide a home for the Raiders.

Still under construction and set to be completed before the start of next season, Allegiant Stadium is really starting to take form. The sleek black exterior has been on display for months, but the inside of the stadium is finally coming together.

Recently, Raiders head coach Jon Gruden was invited to tour the facility along with Raiders owner Mark Davis. Gruden marveled at every part of the stadium and was motivated to get his team ready to win, via Allegiant Stadium’s official Twitter account:

Gruden got the breakdown of what gameday will be like and also got to meet a number of people working on the stadium. He also stated that despite the numerous stadiums he has visited in his lifetime, he’s never seen one quite like Allegiant Stadium.

Although the Raiders are the main attraction at Allegiant Stadium, they are not the only ones that will call it home as UNLV will also play its home games there.

Some exciting news is that Allegiant Stadium will have even more features than initially projected. After selling out of personal seat licenses, the budget for the stadium was increased and will allow for additional amenities.

As the stadium nears its completion, the Raiders will hopefully be working on perfecting their product on the field. A top-notch stadium deserves a top-notch team and the Raiders have some excellent pieces to build around. But much like the stadium itself, there’s still some work to be done.
