The Las Vegas Raiders are set to begin a new journey in 2020 after leaving Oakland for the desert, becoming the first NFL team to call Las Vegas home.

The Raiders’ new home comes with brand-new, state-of-the-art facilities, both in the form of Allegiant Stadium and the Intermountain Healthcare Performance Center in nearby Henderson.

As the stadium and practice facility near its completion, the Raiders’ staff members have begun working at their new offices. Raiders general manager Mike Mayock recently spoke about how impressed he was by the Intermountain Healthcare Performance Center.

Players are not yet allowed to begin practicing there, but once they do, the facility will have everything they need to get in shape and stay healthy during the 2020 season and beyond.

The Raiders posted a drone flyover of their new practice facility on their YouTube channel, and it is as nice as can be expected:

The Raiders and all other NFL teams are set to begin training camp at the end of July, so it won’t be long before the players get to see their new practice facility. Originally, the Raiders were set to have training camp in Napa, Calif. once again, although the NFL forced them to move it to Henderson due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Only time will tell if the Raiders have a successful 2020 season, but there is currently a ton of optimism in the organization that they will return to the postseason during their first season in their new home. That would go a long way in building a local fan base, as was the case for the Las Vegas Golden Nights when they went all the way to the Stanley Cup Finals in their inaugural NHL season.
