Raiders Video: Derek Carr’s Gender Reveal Shows He And Wife Heather Will Be Having First Girl
Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

This offseason has been a busy one for the Las Vegas Raiders as not only have they undergone a lot of roster changes, but they also are moving cities from Oakland to the desert as they get ready to open Allegiant Stadium in 2020.

Amidst an offseason of changes, one thing that won’t be different for the Raiders in 2020 is that Derek Carr will be their starting quarterback.

The organization flirted with the idea of bringing in a replacement either through the draft or free agency, but they ultimately stuck with Carr and brought in a veteran in Marcus Mariota to back him up.

Carr will have a ton of new weapons to throw to in 2020, and he has already begun getting familiar with them as he recently posted a video throwing and working out with his new teammates.

While getting on the same page as his new weapons is Carr’s main task this offseason, it appears he has another big task off-the-field as well. Carr recently posted a video announcing that he and his wife Heather will be having their fourth child, and the gender reveal showed that it will be a girl:

Carr already has three sons, so this will be he and Heather’s first daughter. The Carr family recently moved to Las Vegas and will be neighbors with Jon Gruden, so perhaps the Raiders’ head coach could babysit for his quarterback when needed.

It’s unknown when Carr and Heather will be welcoming their daughter into the world, but it likely will come at some point during the 2020 season.
