Raiders Rumors: Amari Cooper Traded To Cowboys For 2019 First Round Draft Pick
Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

After the Oakland Raiders traded Khalil Mack to the Chicago Bears for multiple draft picks, the 2018 NFL season has not gotten any easier for head coach Jon Gruden and company.

With a 1-5 start, there were reports about the Raiders entertaining offers for Amari Cooper and Karl Joseph.

According to Josina Anderson of ESPN, the Raiders have traded Cooper to the Dallas Cowboys:

In exchange, the Raiders will receive another 2019 first round draft pick, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN:

Through six games, Gruden struggled to get Cooper involved in the offense on a consistent basis. As the former No. 4 pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, Cooper finished with 22 receptions for 280 yards.

As Cooper will have an opportunity to become the wide receiver the Cowboys need, it remains to be seen what happens with the Raiders. With numerous players on the trading block, it may only be a matter of time before Derek Carr gets mentioned if the team continues to struggle.

After their bye week, the Raiders will take on the Indianapolis Colts in Week 8.
