Along with Murray, the Raiders also made a few more moves to get the roster down to 75 players before the deadline on Tuesday. Cornerback Joselio Hanson was placed on the injured reserve along with Murray. Linebacker Miles Burris was also put on the physically unable to perform list according to Raiders.com:
Oakland placed LB Miles Burris on the reserve/physically unable to perform list, and placed CB Joselio Hanson and RB Latavius Murray on injured reserve.
With the Raiders cutting down the roster to 75 players, the team will have a few more days before parting ways with 22 more players in order to secure the 53-man roster roster required by the NFL. The deadline for the final roster is Saturday.
On Thursday, the Raiders will face the Seattle Seahawks in the final preseason game. It’ll be a make or break game for quite a few players on Thursday with the team making the final cut only two days after taking on the Seahawks.
