Raiders News: Full 2017 NFL Regular Season Schedule Released

On Thursday evening the NFL released the 2017-18 regular-season schedule, with the reigning Super Bowl champion New England Patriots hosting the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday, Sept. 7.

The Oakland Raiders open their season on Sunday, Sept. 10, when they face the Tennessee Titans. This marks a third consecutive season that the Raiders travel to play the Titans. Oakland has won each of the past two meetings.

The Raiders home opener comes in Week 2 in a matchup with the New York Jets. Another notable date for the Raiders is a Sunday afternoon game on Nov. 19, when they face the Patriots at Azteca Stadium in Mexico City. Oakland defeated the Houston Texans in Mexico last season.

For the first time since 2004, the Raiders play on Christmas Day. That calls for an away game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football.

A return to Los Angeles, where the Raiders once called home, won’t come until Week 17 when they close out the regular season against the Los Angeles Chargers at StubHub Center on New Year’s Eve.

In total the Raiders have four games on either Sunday or Monday night, with all but one of them coming on the road. The home game is Sunday, Dec. 17, when the Raiders host the Dallas Cowboys.
