Lynch earned quite the following regarding his social media antics, while also participating in many philanthropic causes for the city of Oakland. He is slated as the featured back in an already explosive Raiders offense, demonstrating he still has that crisp footwork that earned five Pro-Bowl nominations.

While the 31-year-old has helped heal some torn feelings between the Raiders and city of Oakland, he has also provided some hype towards the Raiders resurgent 2017 season. With quite the fan base in store already, Lynch has earned the honors as the top selling NFL jersey for the month of May, via Raiders.com:

Prior to his hiatus, Lynch was one of the more captivating players in the league, both on and off the field, and his homecoming has reignited interest in No. 24, so much so that he had the top selling jersey in the NFL for the month of May, according to NFL Shop.

The Raiders acquired Lynch on April 26, with the Seattle Seahawks ultimately deciding to depart with the running back that still had two years remaining on his deal. According to the NFL Jersey Shop, Tom Brady, Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliot and Deshaun Watson rounded out the top five.

Raiders quarterback Derek Carr also came in as the sixth best jersey on the list, with NFL Defensive Player of the Year Khalil Mack placing 15th on the list.

The 2014 Super Bowl champion brings that Super Bowl experience and professionalism alongside the likes of Donald Penn and Sebastian Janikowski. However, he also adds to the relaxed and calm demeanor of this Raiders team. Lynch understands that a Super Bowl victory is the end goal for this city, as just another historic feat he could accomplish for his hometown.
