The Oakland Raiders are in a bit of a slump right as they have managed to drop their last two games. After a terrible offensive showing in Week 3 against the Washington Redskins in Week 3, Oakland struggled again in their game against the Denver Broncos.

The Broncos, lauded for their defense, shut down the Raiders’ air and ground attack, routinely making life difficult for Derek Carr and the rest of the offense. However, frustrations seemed to arise late in the third quarter when punter Marquette King was hit with an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty after throwing the football at one of Denver’s special teams players.

According to Michael Gehlken of Las Vegas Review-Journal, King has been served a fine by the league:

King has a history of getting in trouble for his antics on the field and this is just another instance of him receiving unnecessary attention. The Raiders are not playing good football and could use more composure than King displayed against the Broncos.

Regardless of the punter’s fine, the silver and black have more things to worry about when they head home to Oakland to play the Baltimore Ravens in Week 5. With Derek Carr out with a back injury, it will be interesting to see if EJ Manuel can move the chains and get the team a win.
