This offseason has been a crazy one for the Las Vegas Raiders as not only are they focused on improving the roster for the 2020 season, but they also are in the process of moving the whole organization from Oakland to the desert.

Allegiant Stadium has been making good progress and is set to be ready by the start of the preseason. The team has not shared much of the progress taking place at their new practice facility close by in Henderson, however.

The original plan was to have training camp in Napa once again this year and then make the move to Las Vegas, giving the construction companies plenty of time to finish the facilities.

It appears they may be ahead of schedule though, as Jon Gruden attended the Deontay Wilder-Tyson Fury fight at the MGM Grand with Mark Davis on Saturday night and confirmed that Mandatory Minicamp will take place in Las Vegas in June, via Ed Graney of the Las Vegas Review-Journal:

Training camp will still likely take place in Napa, but having some time at the new practice facility to get acquainted with the new fans in Las Vegas beforehand will be a huge plus for the Raiders.

Additionally, Gruden and the other staff members can get settled into their new offices that they will call home for the remainder of their time with the Raiders.

On the field, the Raiders should have a much-improved team in 2020. After finishing 7-9 in 2019, they return all of their key young players in addition to having a plethora of draft picks and cap space to work with this offseason.
