The NFL announced who has made the Pro Bowl for the 2020-21 season, and tight end Darren Waller and running back Josh Jacobs will be representing the Las Vegas Raiders.

This year’s Pro Bowl is different than normal years are there will not actually be a game played this time. It was supposed to take place at the Raiders’ Allegiant Stadium although the game itself had to be cancelled due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The honor of being named to the Pro Bowl is still a big one though, and there are expected to be some sort of activities in Las Vegas to celebrate.

For Waller, this marks the first time he has been named to the Pro Bowl in his career. He has been the second-best tight end in football behind Travis Kelce in every statistical category as in 14 games, he has 93 receptions for 967 yards and eight touchdowns. All of those are career-bests except yards with Waller having two more games to break his career-high of 1,145 from last season.

Similar to Waller, this is also the first Pro Bowl nod for Jacobs. In 13 games this season, he has rushed for 907 yards and 10 touchdowns while also adding 238 yards through the air.

The Raiders’ offense has been much-improved this season, and the main reason for that has been the play of both Waller and Jacobs, so it is good to see both recognized as Pro Bowls for the first time in their young careers.
