The San Diego Chargers will face the bitter division rival Oakland Raiders for the first time this season on Sunday night in the Bay Area. Along with this being a highly anticipated matchup for the fans of both these teams, the avid Raiders fans of The Black Hole at O.co Coliseum have cooked up something special for Chargers rookie linebacker Manti Te’o.
It’s no secret these days that Te’o was tricked into having a relationship with an imaginary women named Lennay Kekua while playing for Notre Dame last year. Te’o’s relationship with Kekua became national news when it was announced that she had passed away and was ultimately discovered to be a man posing as a woman on the internet.
Needless to say, the entire situation turned Te’o into the laughing stock of college football and shed a lot of doubt about his career in the NFL. Now the passionate members of The Black Hole in Oakland will use it as leverage heading into the heated showdown between these two bitter rivals in Week 5.
