Raiders Announce Key Offseason, Training Camp Dates
Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The Oakland Raiders have released important dates for their upcoming 2019 Training Camp. With minicamps over and the offseason in full swing, full Training Camp is just a few weeks away.

As usual, the Raiders will train in their Napa Valley training complex. Training Camp will open up with the Raiders rookies report on July 23. Following that the veteran players are due to report on July 26. Additionally, that will be the first day for press conferences, including head coach Jon Gruden’s first address to the media.

After that, the camp ramps up with the team’s first full practice on July 27. Following that, quarterback Derek Carr will give his first press conference as well. It has already been noted by new wide receiver Antonio Brown that he and Carr have gotten along well. It should be interesting to see what Carr has to say.

The Raiders will then practice until July 31 before they get their first off-day. No key dates are set to take place for another week, but the team will most likely continue to have practices mixed in with off-days.

Then, August 7 and 8, the Raiders will get their first look at the competition. Oakland and Los Angeles Rams will have joint practice in Napa, Ca. The Rams are also the Silver and Black’s first opponent in the preseason, with the first game taking place on Aug. 10.

Following that, the Raiders will continue Training Camp until Aug. 19, five days after their preseason matchup against the Cardinals. After the conclusion of the camp, the Raiders will be in full season ready mode, with two more preseason games before the start of the regular season.
