NFL Network revealed its television schedule for the month of August ahead of the beginning of Training Camp. It announced that a whopping 15 preseason games will be broadcast live on the station, including the first three Oakland Raiders contests.

The Raiders officially kick off preseason play with a home game against the Detroit Lions on Friday, August 10, at 7:30 p.m. PT.

The contest most notably marks head coach Jon Gruden’s return to the Oakland Coliseum sidelines for the first time in his second stint with the organization.

The following week features the Raiders’ first preseason game on the road, when the team takes on the Los Angeles Rams at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on Saturday, August 18, at 1:00 p.m. PT.

It marks a bit of a homecoming for the Raiders, as they return to their old stomping grounds for the first time since relocating back to Oakland in 1995. The team played its home games at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum for 13 seasons, from 1982-94.

The third week marks the Raiders’ return to Oakland Coliseum for an intriguing matchup against the Green Bay Packers on Friday, August 24, at 7:30 p.m. PT.

Projected starters typically see an increase in playing time for Week 3, so it wouldn’t be surprising if the likes of Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers to Raiders quarterback Derek Carr and running back Marshawn Lynch suit up in this one.

The Raiders conclude their preseason schedule with a bout against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 4. The game takes place on Thursday, August 30, at 7:00 p.m. PT at CenturyLink Field, but will not be televised live on NFL Network.
