The Oakland Raiders have spent much of the 2019 NFL offseason revamping their wide receiver corps, most notably acquiring All-Pro Antonio Brown from the Pittsburgh Steelers while additionally adding the likes of Tyrell Williams, J.J. Nelson and Ryan Grant in free agency.
On the subtraction side, the Raiders released longtime veteran wideout Jordy Nelson despite spending just one season with the team. He recently announced his retirement after 10 NFL seasons, but is said to be open to a reunion with the Green Bay Packers should they express interest.
What’s more, the Raiders also cut ties with wide receiver Seth Roberts after a five-year stint in the organization. He became a late addition to the free agent market, providing teams another opportunity to add valuable depth.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Roberts’ status as a free agent will be short-lived, as the Baltimore Ravens are set to sign him to a one-year contract:

In 15 games last season (seven starts), Roberts hauled in 45 receptions for 494 yards and two touchdowns. He boosted his catch percentage to a career-high 70.3, which marks a four-point improvement from the 2017-18 season.
Roberts joins a Ravens squad that has additionally undergone some wholesale changes this offseason. He becomes the latest addition a wide receiver group that already includes the likes of Willie Snead and Chris Moore, with more likely to come in the NFL Draft later this month.
