At the 2018 NFL Draft, the Oakland Raiders traded a third round pick to the Pittsburgh Steelers for Martavis Bryant.

However, as Bryant received criticism during the offseason and is currently facing another suspension from the league (which would be the third one in the last four seasons), the 26-year-old was still surprisingly waived.

After Week 1 where the Raiders struggled offensively against the Los Angeles Rams with 13 points all in the first half, it appears help is on the way again.

Bryant is reportedly signing a one-year deal to return to the Raiders and is expected to play Week 2 against the Denver Broncos, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network:

This is a surprising move considering the fact that the Raiders waived Bryant just 10 days ago. With Bryant a potential deep threat for Derek Carr, he should help Amari Cooper and Jordy Nelson, who combined for four catches for 32 yards against the Rams.

Although the former fourth round pick in the 2014 Draft is set for his return, there are many questions that remain as he is still facing a one-year suspension for another violation of the league’s substance abuse policy.
