Raiders Video: Allegiant Stadium & Practice Facility In Las Vegas Starting To Come Together

The Raiders organization is undergoing some big changes this offseason with the move from Oakland to Las Vegas, where they will open up the brand new Allegiant Stadium this fall.

The building of the new stadium has not been easy due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. A recent report indicated that as many as 16 construction workers have tested positive for the virus, although they have not shut down the operation to this point.

While there likely won’t be any fans in attendance at NFL games this season, the plan is still for Allegiant Stadium to be ready whenever the Raiders take the field. Their first regular-season game at their new home is scheduled for Monday Night Football against the New Orleans Saints in Week 2.

Throughout the course of the building of the stadium, there have been various updates on the progress of the construction. The organization is also building a new state-of-the-art practice facility a few miles away in Henderson, which will be their new headquarters.

The most recent update on both the stadium and practice facility was positive as it looks like both are nearing their completions. Grass in front of Allegiant Stadium has begun being spread out, meaning the focus is now shifting towards the exterior of the building.

Here is an updated look at both Allegiant Stadium and the practice facility from this week:
